Top 3 Colleges to Visit Christ Church College - Harry Potter staircase, Christ Church Meadow, Dead Man's walk. Generally open 10 am - 5 pm. £8 admission. [Photos] New College - Cloister where Draco was turned into a ferret, Medieval Wall. Generally open 11 am - 5 pm. £4 admission. [Photos] Worcester College - nicest grounds in Oxford, where I taught for a summer, where Emma Watson spent a "year abroad." Generally open 2 - 5 pm. free admission. [Photos] Other Must See Things Bodleian Library - beautiful quad with fabulous building, often has great free exhibits, must see Divitniy School - dual Harry Potter use - infirmary and dancing lessons. Generally open 11 am - 5 pm. £1 admission for Divinity self tour; many other library tours available. St. Mary the Virgin Church - must climb tower to see breathtaking view of Radcliffe Camera, All Souls College and Brasenose College. Generally open 9:30 am - 5 pm. £4 admission to climb tour (about 100 steps) [Photo] Broad Street walk from Gloucester Green or Worcester College along Beaumont Street, past the Ashmolean Museum on your left and Randolph Hotel (Morse Bar) on your right; make a right at the Martyr's Memorial onto Magdalen Street and then a left onto Broad. Lots of shops, 3 Blackwell book/art/music shops, Balliol College on your left, continue on Broad past Museum of the History of Science, Sheldonian Theater and Clarendon Building on your right; turn right onto Catte Street (see King's Arms Pub to your left) and walk past Bridge of Sighs to your left (Hertford College) and Bodleian Library, Radcliffe Camera and St. Mary the Virgin [Photo] to your right. [You cannot go wrong walking anywhere in Oxford.] [Broad Street Photos] Ashmolean Museum - even its a quick visit to the Impressionist room upstairs, it's worth a short visit. Free admission.
